This morning, I have to check the flight information via the Beijing International website. Luckily, I can get all of the information I needed. However, I still cannot find anything about the registration place (Ben told me not to worry as all of them are the same in the morning).

Tomorrow afternoon, I would be the boss holding a gathering for my colleagues here. With Ben's kindness, we will go to a restaurant nearby to have seafood. That's fine for me.

At 1/9, I will leave Beijing in the morning. Hence, Ben suggested me to be day off on wednesday (1 holiday/2). I need to think which places I would also like to go.

Ben is so kind. This time, I am not likely to wake him up at 6am for my driver. Hence, I would take a taxi instead (asking for it the night before). It seems to be my 1st time to do flight registration. Hope it would not be so troublesome.

Today, "T" will arrive Beijing. We will meet in the lobby of the office (hope so, as there is sth that needed to be given to Ben. In the morning, I received a message from "T". However, when called him, it is of no use (no signal). Don't know whether it is due to the line or of low battery. Hope to see him in the office. Then, we will go to Xidan for shopping. After dinner, we will go back to the party school.

Finally, I need to take public transportation to the office. As I forget what he told me yesterday (go to office by bus myself), I wait near my accomodation. Then, I called Ben for any details. He told me to go to office myself. As it is my target, I do it in an enjoyable way. However, the route that we take in the past (19) is of long waiting period. Afterwards, I took the "Special 4 Route" back to the office. The stop is in the opposite of the Parkson Shopping Mall, a place which is 2 roads far from our building. Although the journey is quite long, that's fine for me.

This morning, Ben & I take bus to the office. As he requested me to do it myself in the following days, it is necessary to remeber all the details. However, it seems valuable to have such an experience (have an independent life: the target for summer intenship, learning mandarin of course).

Living in Bejing for nearly 1 1/2 weeks, I began to be familiar with the lives here (Ben's home: 5 days; hostel: 5 days without much nervousness, thinking someone will go in my room: security) & began to eat in a normal way (previous: less than in H.K.). Taking taxi is ok while the bus is still a challenge (longer journey).

Someone said that the enemy of a person is loneliness. It seems applicable to a girl in a remote area. Hence, I would like to go somewhere else instead of staying in the hostel. However, for 1 person, it is difficult to go somewhere else alone e.g. watching movies. Do shopping is better (I always did it in H.K.). Taking taxi is much expensive than the one with 4 persons while taking bus or MTR is not my 1st priority (do it alone & dirty).

Can someone have such a deep feeling of loneliness?

In the evening, Ben gave me a bicycle ride to the Xinwah Book Shop. At there, I bought a Beijing tour guide. It seems quite difficult for me to sit properly at the back of the bicycle & hurts my leg. Luckily, it is of no blood. However, my shoes are not so lucky. I told mom that I have such an experience (bicycle ride). However, she said that in China, having a bicycle ride is not safe (big cars would not give way to a bicycle). While I sit at the back of the bicycle, it's me who have to take special care.

It's raining heavily today. However, it is not as severe as that contemplated by the related authority. In the morning, Ben has asked me whether I would like to go to office or not since he can't offer me a drive to the party school after the working hours (his mother is back from L.A.). I suggested to go since intenship is still my first priority although my colleagues said that I have nothing to do in the office.

In the afternoon, I went to Xanquo Hotel to book a local tour for a client with Amy by taxi. However, due to the bad weather, she was sick. Hence, after the booking, we went to a shopping mall nearby. Here, I bought some make up for my black skin without any water & nutrients (may be it is due to nerousness).

Maybe it's this which makes me forget to put my umbrella in the floor but on the seat instead. The wetness makes the taxi driver (after the shopping) crazy & tend to give me a lesson (many things to say). For me, after I knew the "seriousness", can onlyb say sorry. However, he seems cannot stop. Only for one thing, he stopped suddenly, he knew I am from H.K. What a pity! The status can make such a big difference (previous: nearly shout at me; after: said that it is no big due when I try to dry the wet part with a book).

For some time, we arrive the office building. He suddenly turn around & look at me. I don't know whether he would like to see a H.K. lady OR blacklist me by rembering my face OR the worst: rembering my faces & kidnap me (hahahha)

Today, Ben & I take bus to the office. The environment there is like the tram in H.K. (also without air-cond). Living here for a week, I still cannot accept anything without air-cond. Hope to be accustomed to it afterwards.

In the afternoon, my colleagues said that the typhoon Matsa will go through Beijing at 5pm. With reference to the internet, it is said that Beijing will be rendered heavy raining & windy. Xiao Lin (my colleague) volunteering to give Ben & I a drive back to the party school. With the bad environment, I plan to stay at the hostel taking convenient noodles. Hope that the hostel is of acceptable condition. Otherwise, my torch would be useful. For tonight's life, a comprehensive view will be given tomorrow.

Ben need to play mahjong with his friends. Originally, I plan to have dinner with ah Ying. However, in the afternoon, I went to Lama Temple by taxi. At there, I met some H.K. people. Then, we went sightseeing. After some time, we went to an art village to have some walk. However, some of them do not have enough sleep. Thus, 2 of them (4 guys) went back to hostel to have some sleep while 2 of them & I went to Siushui Street & bought some accessories ($18/2) in Tibet feel. It's fanastic since I like the minority feel so much. With headache, I went to party school immediately after the Silk Street without any dinner with them. Maybe meet them in the icq (send me back the photos taken in the Lama Temple.

Today, Ben's daughter (ah Ying) & her friend (Siu Cheung) took me to Xidan. At the shopping mall, Yong bought a pair of trousers. For me, I bought a minority people bag & some accessories. The place there is like Mongkok.

Today, I have nothing new to do, just reading documents & newspapers. At about 3pm, a client went to us. However, my nose started bleeding. Luckily, it is better than the last time (bleeding after my bath, without clothes, the cloth is full of blood). Too bad! It bleeds for about 15 minutes. Then, it's fine.

I went back to the party school earlier, with the fact of my nose bleeding. We did the check in procedure of the No.4 Tower & went there to have a look. It seems to be a lower quality hotel. However, it sounds ok for me unless the light in the room is not so good. My mom told me not to be too picky for the plan ( still asked me to buy a table lamp, but I told her that I need to have a comprehensive view before having any amendment).

Ben said that the hotel still cannot confirm whether there will be hot water supply today (would be reconfirmed today afternoon). If not, I will stay in their house for some time.
